Dear Shaded Viewers,
Last year Marie Jo collaborated with design duo A. F. Vandevorst to produce a capsule collection and this year...Veronique Branquinho. The capsule collection will be included in the Marie Jo L'Aventure 2011/12 winter collection. The sultry bottle green perfectly cut lingerie is Veronique's first foray into lingerie. What has held her back in the past was not having the strong partner that could turn her ideas into comfortable materials with a perfect fit. From their part, Lien Van de Velde, the brand manager, chose Veronique because of her pure lines and feminine elegance. The collection felt perfect for the modern day RIta Hayworth. Who wouldn't feel great in these pieces?

In addition to the installation there was a great film.
The pieces are made in tulle, grosgrain and plisses and put you in the mood of a 1950's Betty Grable meets Rita Hayworth. The material is clearly skin-friendly and flexible, it feels like silk satin but is matched with micro-fibre that looks like satin duchesse.
The collection comes in emerald green and onyx...bravo.
