Smallville – Laura Vandervoort back as Supergirl – Pics

Smallville kicked off its tenth and final season with a shot heard ’round Metropolis and yes, the world, for your favorite heroes. And then? You guessed it. Clark resurrected from the stab and the tumble he took for the greater good on the season nine finale. That, and much more went down last Friday on the super CW series. There’s so much more I could say, but most importantly, Chloe put on Fate’s helmet and then (after recovering from the effects) traded her life for Oliver’s! Also, Lois knows Clark’s secret, though he doesn’t know she knows. She also learned, thanks to a Lex Luthor clone, that she’s Mr. Kent’s biggest weakness. Her response? She got the heck out of dodge! Why? To protect him of course! Even heroes need a lil’ help now and again.

But enough about old news! Tonight on the CW episode two happens. Its called “Shield”. We’ve got your synopsis, and best of all, we’ve got pics from the new episode direct from the talk-worthy network, the CW. Supergirl is back, so enjoy, folks!

Episode Synopsis – LAURA VANDERVOORT RETURNS AS DC COMICS’ CHARACTER SUPERGIRL — Clark (Tom Welling) is stunned when Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort) returns to Earth and tells him Jor El sent her to stop the dark force that is coming because he doesn’t believe Clark can handle it. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) confronts Gordon Godfrey (guest star Michael Daingerfield), a shock jock radio DJ who has been crusading against heroes, after he threatens the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley). However, after Godfrey is possessed by the dark force, he takes Lois hostage and Clark and Kara have to come to her rescue.
