LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – When Playboy selected Jenn Sterger (pictures below) for its 2006 spread, Playboy picked a new face in Sterger who was heading into broadcasting. But despite agreeing to do Playboy, Jenn Sterger was not going to agree to visit Brett Favre in his hotel room two seasons later. Jenn Sterger (aka Jennifer Sterger) might have a resemblance to Favre’s own wife Deanna. But Jenn Sterger has made clear that Brett Favre wasn’t her type – old and married.
The Jenn Sterger Brett Favre scandal was before the news media in August. LALATE ran the story at the time that originated in Deadspin in August. But most news sites weren’t touching the scandal. Ironically, the only comments from Sterger on the allegations still remain that August interview. In the first week of August, Sterger was interviewed by A.J. Daulerio.

Roger Goodell’s investigation will focus not just on whether Favre violated the NFL Code of Conduct Policy but whether his conduct jeopardized Sterger, and the other two female Jets staffers, from doing their jobs. For example, in the Ines Sainz matter, Goodell said “Sainz did not appear concerned, disturbed or troubled by what was going on around her, and that nobody had difficulty doing his or her job” .
Favre allegedly says in the first message “Jen – just got done with practice, got meetings here, in a couple more hours I’m going back to the hotel to just chill, so send me a text, um, cause … Ill be in the hotel for a couple of hours … come over tonight … but uh, … but …if you, might give you my number, or … gimme a text, love to see you tonight, take to you later by.”

Sterger said of Favre’s first voice mail that he was “creepy…. I just want to make it clear I never met him, saw him, etc. because I don’t roll that way, meaning old . . . or married.” Sterger also said if she agreed to bed Favre she would end up in a garbage can.
His second alleged message included “Jenn…. just got done with practice, got meetings here for a couple more hours, then I’m going back to the hotel to just chill, so send me a text.”

Favre is said to have cried when confronting the scandal to Vikings teammates during a Monday morning meeting. Favre has yet to deny the allegations. On Sunday he simply said “it will take its course”. Last week he said “I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets and am trying to get some timing down with our guys, so that’s all I’m going to discuss.” Favre has reportedly agreed to cooperate with NFL investigators. Reports conflict as to whether Sterger has agreed as well.
Sterger was featured in the 2006 Playboy Magazine Top Ten Party School’s Special Edition. The pic spread came after Sterger was discovered during the 2005 FSU Miami game; Sterger and FSU classmates would take to Maxim as well, earning the publication’s Hot 100 list honors.
