Amrita arora,

Amrita arora, Gul panag, Malaika arora and other hot babes at the premier of Hello

Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie Hello hit theatres this Friday. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best seller One Night @ Call Centre.
Salman’s fans will get to see him in a very different role in this movie.
“I am playing the person who is listening to the whole story. I am playing Salman Khan,” says the actor.
The movie is directed by Atul Agnihotri and though Salman is playing the character that holds the entire story together, he doesn’t seem to have done his homework.
The actor in all his interviews has said that he hasn’t read the book.
Talking about the movie, Salman also talks about the Censor Board deleting the scenes from the film where actress Gul Panag talks about using a condom.
“Why will they have a problem with it? It is a good thing to wear a condom,” says Salman.
Amrita Arora miffed with the makers of ‘heroes’ Amrita Arora has reasons to be cross. The gorgeous lady was promised a meaty role with good eight scenes in the upcoming film ‘Heroes’ and also a song with Sohail Khan in the film.

However, it came as a rude shock for Amrita when she found that four of her scenes have been chopped off and the song, titled ‘Deewana’ which was shot at Madh island, is also no more a part of the film. Deeply hurt, Amrita has cornered herself from the promotion of the film. She did not attend the press conference and media interviews held at Mehboob Studios recently and did not even attend the Lalbaughcha Raja promotional event.

Where Amrita keeps tight lipped on the issue, director Samir Karnik denies any such difference with her. “There is nothing like that. During the press conference of Heroes, Amrita was shooting for Golmaal Returns and during the Lalbaughcha Raja event, she was unwell. I am sure she will attend the next press conference that we are having on September 18. And the issue of chopping her song doesn’t arise as she had no song in the film with Sohail to begin with,” he said.

‘Heores’ is a multi-starrer with Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Mithun Chakraborthy, and Preity Zinta in pivotal roles.
Not for nothing India is known as the land of unity in diversity. Indian fashion is one of the best examples of this ages old adage. Indian clothes are truly versatile. The credit must go to diverse culture and regional landscape of India. But the blending of India-ness can be truly seen in the clothes that we wear. For example, Salwar Kameez is basically a dress of Muslims and Punjabis but see how seamlessly it has integrated with other forms of clothing in the rest of India. What was used to be a dress of particular part of India can now be seen in other parts as well.
Variety has emerged as the key word. Shrinking geographical differences and tremendously enhanced communication has contributed in raising awareness of number of dresses. Now people don’t blink even once before trying a new cloth. More, the merrier has become the norm. Indian men and women have started to experiment with emerging trends in Indian clothing. Take for example, Sari and how it is being experimented with different sort of embroidery and designs.

Embellishments are being tried and accessories to being used to adorn the clothes. But the soul of the cloth remains Indian. Designers are attuned to fashion events and changes taking place in world and they don’t feel shy in attempting new designs. Most of the rural dresses have already traveled to modern parts of Indian and few even to abroad. Sari is not merely a traditional Indian dress rather it is a statement now. A little bit of imagination and few tweaks and things are looking entirely different. As the present is looking so exciting, future definitely holds lots of promises for Indian fashion.

Apr 18, 2009
Katrina Kaif is planning to open a chic restaurant in Mumbai. However, she is looking for a business partner to team up with. The health conscious actress is ready to foray into a new business. She is set to invest in an up-class, high-end coffee house-cum-bar-cum-lounge-cum-restaurant where people can have not just international cuisines, but also socialize and relax.
Talking about her dream project, Kat says, "I want to open a restaurant in partnership. I am on the lookout for a business Partner . I don't have the time to handle the day-to-day nitty-gritty of the business though I do intend being there as much as possible.
My Partner would have to be someone who has experience in the restaurant business and will be able to give his time as I am a novice in this field. Hopefully, I should clinch a deal soon." The actress is clear about what she wants. "I want the restaurant to be styled and designed something along the lines of a London or New York high-end coffee shop somewhere classy and cool.
It will be along the lines of a coffee house/bar/lounge/ restaurant dealing with specialised international cuisine. The restaurant will be in Bandra. I want my place to serve really good coffees. It's sometimes difficult to get a really good cappuccino which I love here."

Is Phir Tum Mile Ayesha Takia s Last Film
Feb 13, 2009
With Ayesha Takia all set to tie the knot with long time beau Farhan Azmi, there is a strong buzz in the industry circles that she will not sign any new films thereafter and bow out of the film industry. An industry source revealed, “Ayesha has three major films on hand presently, the Salman Khan starrer Wanted Dead And Alive which is almost complete and Revathy Kumar’s Phir Tum Mile starring R. Madhavan and Jaya Bachchan. Her Akshay Kumar starer Eight By Ten is ready for a April release. That apart she is playing a cameo role in Ahmed Khan’s Paathshala and giving her voice for animated feature Ab Dilli Door Nahin. Despite her marriage drawing closer she just recently signed the Madhavan starrer, the reason being she wanted to bid a goodbye with a strong woman oriented subject where she had a substantial role to play. Also what got her more excited about the project was that the film is to be shot in a one stop schedule in April. Now though more offers are continuing to pour in for her, she is in no mood to sign any more projects. In her many interviews Ayesha had earlier expressed her wish to not continue acting post marriage. So since now she has completely stopped signing any more projects its being understood that she is finally bidding a goodbye to the industry.” Her boyfriend Farhan is the son of controversial leader of Samajwadi Party, Abu Asim Azmi. He runs his own hotel business and his two restaurants – Café Basilico and Koyla are quiet famous eateries in Mumbai. Though Ayesha didn’t enjoy many successes with her films, her roles in Socha Na Tha, Dor and Yun Hota To Kya Hota were widely appreciated.

Ayesha Loves The Kids
Mar 7, 2009

On the sets of 'Paathshala' recently, Ayesha Takia was caught having a ball with a bunch of kids. The relaxed group was busy shooting for the Ahmed Khan movie. The sets looked like a huge boarding school, much like Aamir Khan's 'Taare Zameen Par'. Ayesha informed, "It's lovely to be around children. They can shoot for twenty hours together and not run out of energy." As of now she's busy enjoying their zest, compliments and queries. She added, "They compliment me on my hair. One of them asked me if my cheeks are real." Ayesha's role had to be shortened to accommodate the roles of the kids. But she's okay with it. She loves the script and the fact that Ahmed and his wife, Shaira are like family friends to her. Ummm… that means she's effectively ignored the fact that Ahmed's previous films ('Lakeer' and 'Fool n Final' where she acted in) have been super flops! She also reveals, "Despite all the masti, there are rules to be followed on the sets. Ahmed Sir after all has a film to complete and makes sure the fun is organised and controlled. There's no smoking on the sets, no shouting and no yelling on the mike." Looks like is an interesting situation in an interesting film! We just hope Ahmed doesn't spoil it in the end for the viewers like he did in the past!
